‘Dear God!’ Lorna Maseko gushes over married Mapimpi

Like many female fans, Lorna Maseko has gushed over hunky Springbok and Sharks star Makazole Mapimpi.

But it wouldn’t be the first time she commented about a married player. In 2018, the chef and media personality allegedly triggered a rant by Siya Kolisi’s wife, Rachel, on X (formerly Twitter).

On his TikTok account, Makazole Mapimpi showed off his recent fashion looks. The Springbok and Sharks star is known for his speed on the pitch and his stylish looks off of it.

Naturally, the video attracted a lot of attention from the popular player’s female fans.

Media personality and chef Lorna Maseko joined in, gushing, “Dear God! What must happen!”

Lorna Maseko jumped in the comment section of married Makazole Mapimpi’s TikTok video.
While Mapimpi is known for keeping his personal life off social media, his relationship status was confirmed by Boks coach Rassie Erasmus.

Speaking in a press conference, Rassie revealed that Mapimpi had missed a Springboks game abroad after he had wed and welcomed his first child. The 34-year-old is reportedly married to Swazi beauty Sasha De Sousa.

Meanwhile, Lorna reportedly has a baby with EFF-turned MK Party member Floyd Shivambu. She was formerly married to businessman Gcina Lukhele.

‘HOOK UP WITH SIYA KOLISI’
In 2018 and 2019, Rachel Kolisi made headlines over a series of clapbacks against “thirsty” women. Two of them, she claimed were influencer Zuki Lamani and fitness model Marike Botha.

The then-wife of Siya Kolisi also called out a celeb – later identified as Lorna Maseko – who allegedly encouraged her friend to date a married man, name-dropping Siya Kolisi.

Rachel tweeted at the time: “I watched a local TV show last week where a local ‘celeb’ was encouraging her friend to ‘go after/date/hook up’ with Siya Kolisi. Had to rewind a few times to make sure I heard right.”

While Rachel did not name her, Twitter detectives dug up the clip in question from the reality TV show Being Bonang.

Meanwhile, Lorna Maseko was behind another celebrity scandal in 2015, when she and fellow TV star Katlego Maboe shared a steamy kiss at the Durban July afterparty.

At the time, Lorna was married to businessman Gcina Lukhele. They divorced a year later.

Confirming the incident, Katlego told CliffCentral.com of the incident: “It’s a simple thing. I was kissing someone I wasn’t meant to be kissing at the time.”

“What happened is‚ we went to the horse races‚ and we were together as a group of friends. We had a couple of drinks, and it was great. Later on in the night‚ there was a vibe. You know, when there’s a vibe‚ it’s just instantaneous. You look into each other’s eyes, and we snogged”.
