Ex-Big Brother Mzansi star Ashley Ogle’s R500 000 cash gift shock
Former Big Brother Mzansi housemate Ashley Ogle was left overwhelmed with emotion on Saturday, 31 May.

This after her loyal fans came together to honour her impactful 29-day journey on the show. They threw her a surprise party and an incredible R500,000 cash gift and more.
The intimate celebration hosted only 25 invited guests, but the love in the room was immeasurable.
“I didn’t expect what I received,” said Ashley.
“The event was amazing. They are beautiful people, and may God bless them all.”
In addition to the R500 000, Ashley received R10 000 from her East African supporters for petrol and a R5 000 Zara clothing voucher.
“My reaction was quite epic and comical. I totally froze. I got weak at the knees. It was more than what I could’ve ever dreamt of,” she said.
As a devoted Christian, Ashley found the spiritually inspired gifts especially moving.
“Some were so specific and included God, which meant a lot to me. They motivated me to believe even more in what God can do.”
She said it felt like her first birthday party.
“I’ve never had a birthday party before. Now, I understand why people have them. It was amazing,” she said.
Her fan base fondly known as the Maddies, Ashes, Ashangels continue to stand by her.
“They drag me, support me, and love me. The bond is real.”
Ashley views her Big Brother Mzansi experience as a divine assignment.
“My time in Big Brother Mzansi has made a lot of a difference. I stayed there for four weeks. The celebration we had was 29 days of entertainment not even a full month, and I believe God brought me there for a reason.
“He took me there for a short period and showed His power through me. I view the show as a platform that got me where I am and where I’m still going,” she said.
Ashley genuinely loves each and every person who came out for her.
“I know it took villages and the whole country to do it. I wish I had the ability to thank everyone individually,” she said.
