“Ex-The River Star Levels Up with Exciting New Chapter!”
AWARD-WINNING actress Lunathi Mampofu is set to shake things up in the new Mzansi Magic drama, Levels.

The show premieres on Sunday, 7 September.
The 38-year-old actress, renowned for her remarkable performances in Inimba, The River, Kings of Joburg, and 1802: Love Defies Time, said audiences will see parts of themselves in these characters.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Lunathi said her character in Levels is ambitious, layered, and full of surprises.
She said that the show feels authentic, not just drama for drama’s sake.
“Levels is grounded in the reality so many South Africans can relate to – hustle culture, family pressures, ambition, and the sacrifices people make to reach the top. There’s suspense, action, and so much heart. I think audiences will see parts of themselves in these characters, which makes the story not just entertaining but deeply personal,” she said.
Lunathi also teased her character’s evolution on the show, saying viewers should expect the unexpected.
Levels promises a gripping mix of suspense, drama, and action, exploring the personal and professional struggles of its characters while reflecting the realities of modern South African life.
