“Final Farewell: Memorial Services for DD Mabuza to Begin Across Mpumalanga”
THE ANC in Mpumalanga has announced the late former deputy president and Mpumalanga premier David Mabuza’s memorial service details.

The announcement was made by the deputy chairman, Speedy Mashilo, on Saturday, 5 July outside Mabuza’s home.
Mashilo said the province has planned to hold memorial services in all three regions.
“Memorial services will commence on Thursday, 10 July, across three regions so that, at least, people can have an opportunity to celebrate comrade DD’s life.
“Details of the venues will be announced at a later stage. We haven’t yet agreed on the date of the funeral because it’s going to be a state funeral,” he said.
Mabuza (64) died on Thursday, 3 July, at a Joburg hospital after having breathing problems.
He went for a medical check-up at the hospital and suddenly passed on in the emergency room while doctors were trying to help him.
ANC supporters have gathered outside Mabuza’s family home since news of his death broke.
