Shebeshxt Faces Criticism After Demanding Donations to Repair Golf 8 Damaged in Accident

Controversial Limpopo rapper Shebeshxt has sparked criticism on social media after demanding for donations from his fans.

He asked his followers to donate money to repair his Golf 8, which was recently involved in yet another accident.

In a video circulating on social media, the rapper can be seen and heard appealing to the public for financial assistance, claiming that the cost to repair his damaged Golf 8 amounts to R200,000.

Shebeshxt also took to his Facebook page to share the repair bill and his banking details. In a post written partly in Sepedi and English, he wrote;

Second Accident in Just Over a Year

Shebeshxt was involved in another car crash in July 2025, a little more than a year after the tragic accident that claimed the life of his daughter, Onthathile.

He also posted a photo of the wrecked vehicle—a VW Polo GTI—on his Facebook page, accompanied by the caption:

“Nou SioTemss .”

The image  showed a severely damaged front-right side of the car, with a crumpled bumper, shattered headlight, and visible internal wiring.

Many social media users have expressed strong disapproval of Shebeshxt’s appeal for donations, with many accusing him of being entitled and lacking accountability. Several critics pointed out that his tone in the video came off as more of a demand than a genuine request for help. Others questioned his priorities, suggesting that if he can afford substances or reckless behaviour, he should be able to fund his own repairs.
