Jojo Robinson Bids Farewell to Her McLaren, Teases New Supercar Hunt
Reality TV star Jojo Robinson is once again making headlines, this time for saying goodbye to one of her most prized possessions — her flashy yellow McLaren 570S.
The Real Housewives of Durban star took to Instagram to share pictures of herself standing proudly in front of the luxury car before revealing that it was time to part ways with it.

In her post, Jojo wrote: “Said goodbye to our beautiful McLaren today after 2 years together. We made the call to sell her. We had so many good memories in that car, but sometimes you need a little something different. So once we get back from Dubai and Abu Dhabi next month, we will start looking for a new supercar baby to add to the family.”
Jojo, who is known for her glamorous lifestyle, made it clear that she’s not done with luxury wheels just yet. She revealed her top contenders for the next ride are the Lamborghini Huracán and the Ferrari 488 GTB.
“Any suggestions? We obviously still have our other cars, so we need something in the SUPER car category to replace her. We aren’t in a rush, we want the right car for us — something we haven’t already owned. So until we find her…”
For context, the McLaren 570S is one of the most desirable performance cars in South Africa, with used models typically priced between R2.8 million and R3.9 million, depending on the year and condition.
If Jojo does decide to go with one of her dream options, she’ll need to dig even deeper into her pockets. A Lamborghini Huracán in South Africa can cost anywhere from R5 million to R7 million, while a Ferrari 488 GTB is priced in a similar range, often between R4.5 million and R6.5 million. Clearly, Jojo has her eyes on only the best of the best when it comes to replacing her McLaren.
She even added a playful note about her outfit in the photos, saying her dress was from Shein and cost only R135 — proving that while her taste in cars is sky-high, her fashion picks can still be budget-friendly.
This isn’t the first time Jojo has wowed fans with her love for cars. Just last year, in October 2024, she made waves when she unveiled her brand-new Ford Mustang GT. Jojo proudly announced it was the first of its kind delivered in the country, and she named the car “Madison.”
Sharing her excitement back then, she wrote: “Meet the Dark Horse… Fetched my new baby this morning and the FIRST delivered in the country. The new 7th Generation, 2025 Mustang GT, with a full Dark Horse conversion done by @lussoza. I have a love for American muscle, and this baby has me in my feels. Thank you, my Boo bear, for always going above and beyond for me.”
