
Leleti Khumalo Thanks Husband for Standing by Her Side During International Award Win
South African actress Leleti Khumalo has shared a heartfelt message to her husband after winning a major international award for her latest film, Don’t Give Up. The film received the Golden Nymph Award in the Best Creation category at the 64th Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco.
Leleti posted sweet moments of the two of them in Monaco on social media and took the time to thank him for always being by her side, especially during big career moments like this one.

“To my darling husband, thank you for always being there for me and the precious memories. Monaco was extra special with you by my side,” she said.
The film Don’t Give Up is a powerful project made in partnership with award-winning director Darrell James Roodt and well-known producer Anant Singh. It was honoured at a glamorous blue carpet event at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. The Monte-Carlo Television Festival is often called the “Oscars of European television,” as it celebrates the best shows and films from around the world.
Leleti also took to Instagram to share her excitement with her fans. “And just like that, WE WON! Savele sabuya nayo indondo… The Monte-Carlo Television Festival awarded us the Golden Nymph award in the ‘Special Creation’ category for the film Don’t Give Up,” she wrote proudly.
She also thanked her producer, Anant Singh, saying: “An absolute honour to have gone up and accepted this award with my producer, Anant Singh, someone who is always by my side in my career.”
To director Darrell James Roodt, she added: “Another huge thank you to our director, Darrell James Roodt. I’m forever grateful to work with you.”
Leleti also showed appreciation to Monaco’s royal family, sharing her gratitude: “Thank you to Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco for so warmly welcoming and congratulating us in your beautiful country. I am truly humbled.”
Lastly, she gave a special thank you to fashion designer Gert-Johan Coetzee for her beautiful dress on the night: “For making me look so stunning. The most perfect dress to go receive and accept the most perfect award. You outdid yourself. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
