“Nine years of knowing the most amazing little human. Becoming your mom has been the greatest gift of my life you’ve changed me, taught me, and shown me love in its purest form. Each step with you has also been a lesson about myself, and for that I thank God every day. Happy 9th birthday to my best friend, my sunshine, my unconditional love. I’m so blessed to call you my daughter. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEMA NEMA.”

Mapaseka’s touching words melted many hearts online, and fellow actresses also joined in to celebrate the young girl’s special day. Liteboho Molise wrote, “Happy Birthday to babygirl Nemziiii. Re leboha nta te Modimo ka eena and we love her so much.”

Zola Nombona added, “Happy birthday beautiful girl.”

Rosemary Zimu also shared her love, writing, “Happy birthday baby girl .”

While this birthday was filled with love and joy, Mapaseka has also been open about the struggles she has faced in her personal journey. Just last month, she revealed some of her deepest pain during an interview on the Engineer Your Life podcast in an episode titled “I Chose Forgiveness and Letting Go.”

Reflecting on her past, she spoke about the hurt caused by her father leaving the family. “I forgave my dad. My dad left my mom and left us. I don’t have a problem with divorce, but don’t divorce your kids,” she said with emotion. She explained that he didn’t just leave her mother, but distanced himself completely from his children.

Mapaseka continued, “When I looked at him he made bad choices as a person. I don’t know if he left for a woman, but I suspect that maybe he did. When he left, he just left because he wanted to open his own church. That was his reason. He was a born-again Christian. He turned away from the Apostolic church. What broke me is the fact that you can leave your wife, it’s fine, but not your kids.”

Despite this painful chapter, Pasi found healing before her father’s passing. “When he died, I had already forgiven him. I would talk to him and I loved him. I really did. I wish things were different because the two minutes that I spent with him when he was still with my mom, I enjoyed.”
