Notably, his remarkable performance as Bekhumuzi in Isibaya garnered him a well-deserved nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the prestigious South African Film and Television Awards Golden Horn ceremony in 2019.

Actress Lerato Nxumalo said goodbye to her role on Scandal! In an interview with Sunday World, Nxumalo expressed how playing the character Phakamile was truly a delightful experience, treasuring every single moment she had on set.

“Playing Phakamile has been such a beautiful experience. I enjoyed every single moment because I feel like I grew so much. Mathews Rantsoma, who plays the character Nhlamulo, is the third actor to officially exit from etvScandal. The television series made a public statement confirming his departure, revealing that his final appearance on the show will be on July 24th.

“Matthews approached us to advise us that he would like to pursue other ventures. The production and the channel support his decision and have agreed to release him. He will exit the story at the end of July. We wish success in his future,” reads the statement
