Mihlali Ndamase commits to lifelong sobriety
Mihlali Ndamase commits to lifelong sobriety! Influencer and beauty entrepreneur Mihlali Ndamase is embracing sobriety as a permanent lifestyle change. After a successful one-month alcohol detox, she recently confirmed that she’s now taking the commitment seriously — not just for a short period, but for life.

Back in 2023, Mihlali attempted a 30-day alcohol detox and proudly shared how it improved her mood, productivity, and overall health. “This has been by far the best decision I’ve made for my life,” she had said. However, she later relapsed.

A Shift in Mindset
This time around, Mihlali says her approach is different. “If I can make it through one month and move into a second, then I can keep going, even for a lifetime,” she shared.
Her motivation stems from both wellness and practicality. “Alcohol takes away from my work and productivity. I spend a lot of money, it’s a waste,” she said. “Now, I wake up fresh and have more time to focus on what matters.”

Clarity and Confidence
For Mihlali, sobriety is not just about physical health—it’s about mental clarity and taking control of her life. “People can have fun without being drunk,” she said, encouraging others to respect her journey.
She concluded with a heartfelt request: “Please don’t make me regret opening up. This is very close to my heart.”
