ACTOR Wiseman Sithole is no more.

The 51-year-old actor passed away on Sunday, 29 June, at his home in Cape Town after a short illness.

Wiseman was recognised for his roles on the e.tv drama series, Shooting Stars, and the SABC2 political drama, Plein Street.

During his acting journey, Wiseman was represented by ERM Stars Talent Management based in Cape Town.

ERM Stars Talent Management founder and director Emma Ress confirmed the passing of Wiseman to Daily Sun.

She told Daily Sun that for now, the family asks for privacy to mourn their loved one.

“It is with the greatest sadness that we share the shattering news of Wisemen Sithole’s sudden passing.

“He passed away on Sunday after a short illness. His illness started like the flu, and we had hoped that he would recover but unfortunately, he passed,” she said.

Emma said they were honoured to have worked alongside Wiseman and described him as a legendary actor.

“He touched lives as a friend, relative, and to his audience on screen. We will miss you so much, Wiseman.”

She added that they’ll share more details about the memorial and funeral arrangements upon instructions from his family.
