Six Nyamane Bids Farewell to Generations: The Legacy – “It Was Time to Say Goodbye”
Popular Generations: The Legacy actress, Six Nyamane – known to fans as Nozipho – has officially left the iconic SABC1 soapie as of February 2025. The talented young star, whose real name is Mpume, opened up about her departure and future plans in a heartfelt post shared on social media.
“I wanted to [leave]. It was time,” Six explained. “I’m a very young actress, and I’m still so hungry for more. I want to travel the world with this craft… to open doors I never dreamed possible.”
Six described her time on Generations as nothing short of amazing. From forming strong friendships to learning valuable lessons on set, she called the experience an “honour” and praised the cast and crew for their warmth and support.
But this isn’t goodbye to the spotlight. Six recently booked her first-ever TV commercial — the latest Debonairs ad — and says she’s actively auditioning for more roles.
“Outside of acting, I’ve also been a full-time wife and mum, which I’m loving. Right now, I’m in KZN preparing for my big fat wedding,” she added with excitement.
In closing, Six took a moment to thank her fans for the overwhelming support they’ve shown her character.
