South Africa Bids Farewell to Veteran Actress Mam’ Nandi Nyembe

Her funeral service took place on Saturday at Walter Sisulu Hall in Randburg, where family, friends, fellow actors, and government officials gathered to honour her life and legacy. After the ceremony, Mam’ Nandi was laid to rest at Heroes Acre in Westpark Cemetery, a symbolic honour reserved for individuals who have made a profound contribution to South Africa.

We are now focused on preserving her legacy and holding onto her values as a family,” he said.
