Thabo Bester has shared his “concern” for his former girlfriend, Nandipha Magudumana, amid the looming release of the Netflix documentary, Beauty and the Bester, about their relationship and criminal spree.
This comes amid rampant rumours that the celebrity skin doctor is pregnant whilst in police custody.
Nandipha is facing charges of orchestrating Bester’s 2022 prison escape, defrauding the public, and violating multiple bodies. Their trial is set to begin on 10 November at the Bloemfontein High Court.
THABO BESTER ‘CONCERNED’ FOR NANDIPHA MAGUDUMANA
Speaking via his legal advisor, Thabo Bester has expressed his “concerns” for Nandipha Magudumana.
This comes as the duo have filed an urgent High Court application to halt the broadcast of Netflix’s Beauty and the Bester, which is set for release on Friday, 12 September. The former couple hopes to delay the doccie until a verdict is reached on their trial, which is set to begin in November.
Bester has particularly found fault with the involvement of Nandipha’s father, Zolile Sekeleni, in the documentary and how it will impact the outcome of his trial.
His attorney told eNCA: “He is frustrated with how he is being portrayed in this documentary…it is dehumanising him, they are equating Bester as a beast”.
The attorney revealed that Thabo Bester was “troubled” by how it would affect Nandipha.
“His spirits are down. He does not like being the subject of headlines.
“[Nandipha] is his primary concern, the thing that weighs heavily on him”.
PREGNANCY RUMOURS
Meanwhile, the Department of Correctional Services has shut down rampant rumours that Nandipha Magudumana is pregnant.
