‘Thank you Jesus’: Handre Pollard’s wife shows son her home.
Handre Pollard’s wife Marise expressed how grateful she is to share her home with their son, Hunter Andre Pollard.
Marise Pollard, the wife of Springboks flyhalf Handre Pollard, said that she is so grateful to share her home with their son, via an Instagram post on Friday 14 June.
HANDRE POLLARD’S WIFE APPRECIATES HER HOME
Marise Pollard took to Instagram to express how grateful she is to share her home with her son, Hunter Andre Pollard. Handre and Marise welcomed Hunter to the world on 25 April. Marise announced her pregnancy shortly after the Springboks defeated the All Blacks in October 2023 to become double World Cup champions.
In her touching Instagram post, Marise wrote that she is grateful to share the place she played under the trees and ran on the dirt roads with her son. She went on to say that her heart is overflowing. Marise reportedly hails from a farm near Bloemendal in the Eastern Cape. Take a look…
“Flower valley 🌾. So grateful to finally be able to share this place with you my dearest Hunter. It’s home, and now your home too. Where we played under the same trees and ran on the same dirt roads. Here nature is your school, better than any dream. My words are few, but my heart overflows. Thank you Jesus,” she wrote.

ALL THE SPRINGBOK BABIES BORN IN 2024
- Eben Etzebeth, who plays as Springboks lock, and his wife Anlia also welcomed their first child, a baby girl on 16 January.
- Faf and Mine welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Remi-Ré de Klerk on 27 February.
- In April, Handre and Marise welcomed Hunter. This is the pair’s first child together.
- Malcolm Marx and his wife, Kirsten welcomed their second child, a baby boy on 6 June. The couple already have a daughter named Kenna together.
There’s another baby on the way! Stacy Mbonambi, the wife of Springboks hooker Bongi Mbonambi, announced her pregnancy on Mother’s Day, 12 May.
“I love being a mom, now i’ll be a mom of two in a few months 😆😅…. surprise surprise, can only keep a secret for so long….Being a mom is so many things at once, i can’t describe it in one word, but it’s the best thing ever, also the hardest thing ever 😂,” she wrote.
“Only by God’s grace & mercy that im able to be the best mom to my girl, now 5 years later He blessed me with another, God’s time is the perfect time, im in a much better place mentally & emotionally that a few years ago,” she continued.
