Tragedy in Umlazi — Young Woman Found Dead Identified as Luthando Ntshangase

A deep sense of sorrow has filled the community of Umlazi, after the body of a young woman, later identified as Luthando Ntshangase, was discovered naked and murdered in Zindongeni, Umlazi.

According to reports, Luthando’s clothes were found neatly placed beside her body, suggesting she may have been attacked and left at the scene. The heartbreaking discovery has shocked residents and sparked renewed calls for justice and safety for women in the area.

Luthando, who was known to be from H Section, Umlazi, was recognized by community members from photos circulating online — she is remembered as the young woman often seen wearing glasses 🕶️ in pictures.

Even more distressing, it has been reported that her mother, Sindisiwe Ntshangase, who appears in some photos wearing black clothing, has been missing for three weeks and is unaware of her daughter’s death.

The Ntshangase family is urgently appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard from Sindisiwe Ntshangase to please come forward or visit Zindongeni, Umlazi, as the family faces this unimaginable tragedy.
