Two suspects given bail after being arrested in Morudi Frank Phetla case
Two people accused in the murder of Morudi Frank Phetla (64) were granted bail by the Nebo Magistrates Court in Limpopo on Friday, 16 May.
Accused number one, Juliet Mahube (42), and accused number three, Tebogo Regina Mojela (40), allegedly orchestrated Phetla’s murder together with his wife, Rosina (60), who is accused number two.
The case was postponed to 18 July for further investigation.
The accused were arrested in separate locations in Gauteng and Limpopo on 6 April.
According to Limpopo police, the victim was allegedly kidnapped outside his home in Zamane Section, Jane Furse, on 16 March before he was brutally killed.
His naked body was found with severe head injuries and floating in the Motsipiri River by a shepherd on 17 March.

“His vehicle was later found idling with headlights on. His body was discovered by a shepherd.”
At the time of his passing, Phetla was a nurse at Jane Furse Hospital and set to retire in December 2025.
