Urgent: Former SABC Journalist Aserie Sibusiso Ndlovu Missing Alongside Partner Since Feb 18, 2025
Concern and anxiety continue to grow as former SABC journalist Aserie Sibusiso Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Precious Mdhluli remain missing since February 18, 2025. The couple vanished under mysterious circumstances, sparking a nationwide call for information.
Ndlovu, a well-respected media figure and founder of Capital Live SA, was last seen at Denlyn Mall in Mamelodi, Gauteng. On the same day, Mdhluli reportedly disappeared from near their home in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga. Despite extensive searches, investigations, and public appeals, no trace of the couple has been found.
Their family, friends, and colleagues have been devastated by the disappearance. “They vanished without a word. Their phones were off, and there’s been no activity on their bank accounts. This is not like them,” said a concerned relative.
Adding to the mystery, their house was allegedly ransacked days after their disappearance, and their vehicle was found abandoned with no sign of struggle inside. These chilling developments have only deepened fears that the couple may have fallen victim to foul play.
To support the investigation, a R50,000 reward has been offered by media organizations for any information that could lead to their safe return.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) is actively investigating and has urged anyone with information to come forward. Members of the public who may have seen the couple, or have any knowledge about their whereabouts, are encouraged to contact:

Sergeant Lekganyane – 082 768 6433
