New Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) cast member Ameigh Thompson is livid after she did not get the introduction she expected on the Showmax reality show.

While Zama Ngcobo and Angel Ndlela were introduced in the first episode of the fourth season, Ameigh (a maritime graduate) made her debut in episode three.

AMEIGH MAKES HER ‘RHOD’ DEBUT

During the episode, Ameigh introduced herself as “the pretty friend”, before revealing that she is a divorcee. She further shared that she is dating again, but will not disclose her partner’s identity.

When it came to her two children, the philanthropist said: “I’m a sucker for love. There was a time when I sacrificed a lot. Picking a man over my kids?”

She also shared other facets of her life, including her spiritual journey as a healer or sangoma. However, social media was abuzz with posts that she left her children for a man.

‘I’M DISAPPOINTED’

Following the episode, Ameigh moved swiftly to debunk the claims. Taking to her X account, she accused the producers, Let It Rain Films, of cutting out her statement for traction and outrage.

“Production 🤦🏽‍♀️I’m so disappointed… imagine denting the ONE thing I’ve been consistent in, MOTHERHOOD! I have never, will never LEAVE my kids for ANY man! Anything that concerns MY BABIES, I will address shame haibooo!

“What a rubbish intro! I literally LIVE for those two humans! Bathong! [My goodness!].

“I’m literally the ONLY parent that’s ALWAYS been there for my babies, till date [sic]! No man is worth leaving my babies! Ngabe egezephi nje lowo mlisa bandla [Why would that man be so lucky?]” Ameigh wrote.
