Viral dance sensation Skomota, born Ngwana Sesi, is trending after his video with award-winning DJ and producer Kabza De Small flooded social media.

Thanks to his huge social media following, the video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped online.

SKOMOTA LINKS UP WITH KABZA DE SMALL IN LIMPOPO

However, The South African has since established that the two met at Makarapa Day in Limpopo, where they were booked to perform.

Skomota gave Kabza De Small a bear hug as they greeted each other. Doubtless, happiness was written on his face, and he couldn’t help but smile as he walked away.

Skomota has undoubtedly been busy and booked since his thrust into the limelight.

Thanks to his newfound fame, he has headlined several shows and rubbed shoulders with several A-listers, including Makhadzi and DJ Tira.

Last year, Skomota made headlines with his priceless moments with Makhadzi on and off the stage.

In March 2024, Makhadzi seemingly poked fun at Skomota as she talked about his penchant for kissing after bumping into the star.

Makhadzi posted, “Skomota always want to kiss bathong.” She made the remarks after the two met at the Collins Chabane Memorial lecture at Saselamani Stadium outside Malamulele in Limpopo.

Surprisingly, Makhadzi was not the first person to make such remarks. After all, this was not the first time the two have made headlines.

In 2023, Makhadzi invited Skomota to the 29th South African Music Awards at SunBet Arena in Pretoria. During her performance, she shared the stage with him.

Last year, he also met DJ Tira, with who he shared some lighter moments. In one of his interviews last year, Skomota said he would like to work with several artists, including DJ Fresh.

MAKING HEADLINES
Skomota has been winning big since his thrust into the limelight. He has been cashing in from club appearances and bookings.

However, despite his big wins, he has had his fair share of drama. In December last year, he pulled a shocker when he refused to perform at one of his gigs.

According to celebrity blog MDN News, Skomota was reportedly ’booked for an event’ but refused to take the stage.
