A family friend of DJ Warras has slammed Pearl Thusi’s tribute at his memorial and funeral service, which took place on Friday, 19 December.

Norma Mansoor – the mother of rapper Chad da Don, real name Donovan Chad Mansoor- shared her opinion on her X account.

The TV and radio personality was shot and killed earlier this week in what is believed to be a hit.

PEARL THUSI: ANGER OVER TRIBUTE

On her X account, Norma Mansoor, who manages her son Chad Da Don, called out Pearl Thusi over her tribute to DJ Warras at his memorial service.

Mansoor accused the female media personality of being insensitive to the DJ’s children and baby mamas.

She tweeted: “All I can say is .. I’m so, so sorry you had to hear this pathetic speech at his memorial. I’m so disgusted by Pearl [Thusi] and how she tried to make this about her. What she was trying to prove only she would know.

Addressing DJ Warras’s family, she shared: “Boys … you were your Dad’s life. To the mammas he left behind, he always respected you. (no matter what). We will keep his spirit alive.

She added: “This time, Pearl, you went too far 😡”

Norma Mansoor wasn’t the only outraged South African. Many other X users publicly condemned Pearl Thusi.

Pearl Thusi can be so improper though. There was really no need for that info at his memorial service, in front of his wife and kids. I know she didn’t mean any harm though.

WHAT DID SHE SAY ABOUT DJ WARRAS?

In her tribute to DJ Warras, Pearl Thusi reflected on how she once shared a bed with the late star during a trip to Cape Town.

Pearl explained that the DJ was concerned about missing his early morning flight back home to Johannesburg.

She said: “He insisted we stay in the same room. He said we are going to put down pillows [between us] and said, ‘I  just need a cuddle.’”

Pearl continued: “I was worried about what people would think of me, but that’s not what’s happening. We’re literally brother and sister. And we did sleep and cuddle, and the pillows were there. He said ‘Thank you, my friend, I really appreciate it’”.
