One of the most poignant moments of the service came as DJ Warras’ three sons and the pallbearers entered the church dressed in black suits adorned with umqhele, a traditional Zulu headband. The gesture symbolised deep respect for his heritage and the cultural traditions he valued. His coffin, crafted with traditional cattle skin, further highlighted the cultural significance of the farewell.
